The LPN practices under the direction and supervision of the physician/nurse practitioner (NP) and within the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing. Contributes to the physician's/NP assessment of office patients and assists the physician/NP as needed with treatment and education of the patient. Under the clinical supervision of the physician/NP, and the administrative direction of the practice manager, demonstrates the ability to perform procedures in the office setting.
Graduate from an NLN accredited school for Licensed Practice Nursing. One or more years of experience in a doctor's office setting required. Licensed Practical Nurse, State of Vermont.Pharmacology qualified through a formal pharmacology program or satisfactory passage of BMH medication exam. Medical Assistants may be considered for this position. Certified in CPR.
BLS certification required.
- LPN must be currently licensed by the State of Vermont.
